An emmy award winning writer for HBO's The Chris Rock Show, Louis CK has also written for David Letterman, Dana Carvey and Late Night with Conan O'Brien where he is a regular guest. In addition to appearances on Dr. Katz, Mr. CK has been featured on Comedy Central in his own special, "Louis CK's Filthy Stupid Talent Show", which aired in November of 1999.

Besides writing and doing standup comedy, Louis has directed over half a dozen crowd-pleasing short films which have aired on Bravo and the Independent Film Channel. His feature debut, "Tomorrow Night", received popular acclaim after being screened at the Sundance Film Festival. His second feature, starring Chris Rock, will be released nationwide in 2001.

Along with showcasing many of Mr. CK's short films, we're fortunate to have Louis bring his brand of comedy to the program as the master of ceremonies for each episode of ShortCuts.
