Gosse's most recent directorial effort, Niagara Niagara, starring Robin Tunney (The Craft, Tears of Julian Po) and Henry Thomas (E.T., Legends of the Fall) competed in the Main Competition of the 1997 Venice Film Festival as one of the only two American representatives accepted into that year's festival.
